課程概述

柏拉圖在《理想國》中將善的理型稱為最大的知識問題，但卻未能完成對善的定義，只是提出兩種可能：眾人認為善是快樂，高明點的人認為善是知識。而對這一問題的深入討論便是晚期對話錄《斐勒布》篇的主題—何為善的生活？本課程旨在通過閱讀《斐勒布》，以考察柏拉圖對於「辯證法」、「快樂」、「善」等概念的論證定義，並嘗試與《饗宴》、《斐德若》等中期對話錄中的倫理思想進行對觀研究。 

課程目標
 1）理解《斐勒布》篇中對於「慾望」、「快樂」、「痛苦」的討論。
2）嘗試比較《斐勒布》中的辯證法與《理想國》、《斐德若》中的辯證法。
3）思考其與早、中期對話錄裡倫理思想的關聯。
